Large amounts of data can be transferred much faster over the Internet, via bittorrents. This particular method of downloading files is quite easy, especially with the right bittorrent client. Simply named "BitTorrent", this application enables you to download large files in no time. Simplicity is its main feature, so you won't encounter any kind of difficulties when preparing a new download. The application provides a wide range of statistics for your downloading processes, as well as a few useful controls.

BitTorrent's user interface does not display anything more than you actually need to download data. You can load torrents from files in your local folders or directly from URLs. Once you load a torrent, an options panel will show up on the screen, on which you can choose what files to download and where to store them. Additionally, you can label the new downloading process, set the application to place it on top of the queue, to start downloading right away and to skip the hash check. Advanced settings, like specifying maximum download and upload rates can be made on a separate window.

Downloads can be filtered, to show only active, inactive or completed ones. If you add labels to your torrents, you can also filter your downloads by these labels. Furthermore, you can find numerous details about each download, on separate tabs, beneath the torrents list. The information includes the amount of downloaded and available data, peers, share ratio, trackers, the progress for each file, a speed graph and much more.

The application allows you to perform various actions, while downloading data. Right clicking a listed torrent will reveal a series of options, for copying its magnet link, adding labels, allocating a higher or lower bandwidth, setting different upload and download limits and more.

Pros:
BitTorrent provides a clean and simple user interface and its controls are very easy to understand. It displays a wide range of information for each downloading process and it allows you to perform various actions, while downloading data.

Cons:
There are no serious drawbacks to mention.

BitTorrent gives you the possibility of sharing huge amounts of data with your friends or co-workers, as fast and easy as possible.
